Guys & Gals, the following weekend of 70 degree + temperatures in the Northeast in all probability will be the last time it happens until March of 2021, barring a freak occurrence.

My advice is to get out there and drop your tops !

Today (Friday) - Sunny high of 71

Saturday - Sunny high of 72!!

Sunday for the Miata run, Sunny high of 74!!!

Monday & Tuesday also look dry but a bit cooler, highs mid 60s. Then chance of rain comes in for the rest of the week but nothing substantial at this point. Meteorology is one of my “hobbies” or a huge interest in my life, I wanted to be a BCM (broadcast meteorologist) when I was young however the mathematics involved is very difficult.

Enjoy the weekend!!

We are very fortunate to be members of a Miata Club that spends these nice Fall days out on the roadways - A drive today, tomorrow and Sunday.

This has been an absolutely wonderful and delightful Fall driving season for this Club. We have been on the roadways every weekend, on two occasions, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, we have had two weekday drives. And can you believe all of these drives were in grand weather conditions?

I share your fascination with meteorology, Jordan.  I took some courses in it, way back when.  I agree, it gets very complex, but, since we live with climate and weather every day, it's so interesting to learn something about how it all works 😊.

Yes, this weather is crazy but I am not complaining.  After all it is one day closer to Spring. 🤣

Had my winter tires mounted this morning.  A few weeks ago when I made the appt. I thought I might be pushing my luck.  Driving to work at 6am in November on summer tires is usually hazardous to your health.  haha

Yep. It’s a complex combination of geography & physics w/ calculus and all this other stuff. Even though the computers do a lot of the calculations humans still have to interpret it. Back in H.S. I scored almost perfect on my SAT verbal, but quite lousy in math. Knew it probably wasn’t the best idea then.

Tomorrow (Sunday) looks to hit just about 75 for most of the region AND clear skies.
