What’s that? A Mexican Cuisine - Let’s Do It !
Join Walter on another Miata Drive as he leads us back to a Mexican Restaurant we visited last year - Tio Juan’s Margarita Mexican Restaurant in Lansdale, PA. After lunch we will be driving a very short distance to have our dessert Ice Cream at Freddy Hill Farms. This Drive is approximately 116 miles in length.
After driving forty-five miles of our beloved Miata roads in the Lehigh, Berks and Montgomery Counties, we will be stopping at the Walmart Supercenter in Bechtelsville for our rest stop.

Our second leg of travel has us driving another forty-five miles of more Miata roads and arriving at Tio Juan’s Margarita in approximately an hour and forty minutes. Our lunch reservation is for 1:30.
After our dessert Ice Cream we will be leisurely returning to Route 309 in Coopersburg via Allentown Road and the drive ends there.

This drive will be offered as a weekend drive in the near future.

Please let Walter know if you will be joining the group for lunch.

Another great weather day to be out and about in our Miatas. Not only the sunshine, but the breeze was delightful as well. What a surprise to see Jacquline Than stop in to say "hi" to us at Weis Markets. Jacquline lives in the Macungie area and it was nice she took the time to visit.

A huge thank you for Wendy and Randy Rohr being our Tail today. It was nice hearing Wendy's voice on the radio again. Great job in keeping us all together. And a HUGE thank you to Randy for suggesting a route change in crossing route 100. His suggestion is going to make that area of the Drive much easier. I have already made the changes to my route directions and GPX file.

Once again I needed assistance with borrowing an FRS radio. Thank you to Dave Kendell for sharing his back-up radio with me. You may or may not know, my Midland radios are brand new. On two Drives now, the batteries have died. I have already contacted Amazon for a free replacement set. I will have them for my next Drive.

Thank you to everyone for your patience for the route change as a result of Funk Road being closed on the way to Walmart for our rest stop. And then again for the detour we had to take as a result of a road closing nearing Tio Juan's Margarita Restaurant.

All in all, you are a delightful group to lead on a Miata Drive.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer day for "zooming" along those great, twisty roads that Walter chose for us 😎!  The food at Margarita's was yummy, as was the ice cream at Freddy Hill Farms 👍!  A fun day!

Thanks, Walter!!
