Leader -  Walter Cramer

Walter has graciously offered to lead this year's Traditional New Year’s Day Polar Bear Drive (Actually New Year's Eve this time, so we can reserve January 1 in case we need a backup date due to weather problems).  Join other LVMOC members for a drive along a blend of our beloved Miata roads and touring roads in Northampton and Lehigh Counties.

The first leg of travel has us beginning the Drive at the Shell Station, at the intersection of Route 329 and Howertown Road, and ending 59 miles later at the Sheetz Station, on Route 863, for our rest stop.  The second leg of travel has us traveling 40 miles to Fogelsville, were we will enjoy a delicious lunch at Madeline’s Restaurant

If inclement weather causes this Drive to be postponed, the make-up date will be Monday, January 1st.  If this is necessary, we will be enjoying lunch at the Cracker Barrel, as both Madeline’s and the Fogelsville Hotel are closed on Mondays.

Please indicate whether or not you will be staying for Lunch!

@michele

Thank You, Michele. This Drive is one of my favorites. I really enjoy the roads and I know the group loves driving those twisties.

I am so impressed with the group of Drivers we have in our Club. Twenty-three Miatas and they stayed in a tight group today. And with yourself, Cindy and Dominic and Jeff and Haley, you have no idea how much easier it makes for me to lead such a large group.

As always well done Walter!  I'd also like to thanks the group for sticking together; was impressed with such a large group not getting split up.  Hope it is a sign of great things to come this year
