We recently received the following communication from a member of the Utah Miata Club.  She is telling members of other Miata clubs about a tour of some of America's national parks, which will take place in September, 2022.  I'm posting this non-LVMOC event as an FYI to LVMOC members.

NOTE:  Participants will not be driving their Miatas on this tour... it is a trip via motor coach that is run by Collette, one of the top tour operators in the business (Janice and I have traveled with Collette several times, and their trips are top-notch!)

"Hello, my name is Karen Christiansen, and I am a member of the Utah Miata Club. I’m also a travel agent who spent the month of October 2021 in Italy with fellow Miata Club members from not only Utah, but North Carolina and New York, on a tour that I designed to see the best of Italy. What I learned... is that no matter where we Miata Club members are from, when we get together, there is an instant feeling of friendship and a commonality for the love for exploring and seeing new sites.

"With that, I’m extending an invitation to join fellow Miata Club members on a tour to National Parks of America for the dates of September 12-23, 2022.  This is a tour that the Big Apple Miata Club arranged, and it begins in Arizona, goes through Utah, Wyoming, and ends in South Dakota.  While in Utah, our club would love to meet with you and show you around in our Miatas.

"Please see attached National Parks of America information, and here is a link for you to sign up online:

"Space is limited, so please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or inquiries J.

"Also, I’m planning a tour to Italy in April 2023 for 8 – 10 days. If you’re interested in joining with us then, or sometime in the future, let me know."

Wayne, I finally figured out how to configure the date in forum topics and posts.  Just to keep things interesting, WordPress has a couple of places in its setting menus that allow date format setting.  I had set the format to MM/DD/YYYY a long time ago, but forum posts would never reflect that format (the site does use the format in other places...).  Since you noted the issue today, I dug around in the settings menus and found a "switch" that applies my chosen format to the posts.  Thanks for prodding me to look into this again!

Unfortunately, this website didn't come with a user manual 😖.
