Just stopping in for the obligatory "new guy here" post, haha.

My wife and I picked up a 2020 RF GT in Soul Red from Young Mazda a few weeks back. Brought it home on a gray, slushy, cold day. That was fun on summer tires... who buys a convertible in the winter?

Looking forward to joining and making some drives with the group.

Hello, and welcome to the Club! I bought both of my Miatas at Young. Albeit, both in May. You will enjoy the friendly people,  as well as some fantastic drives!  As an owner of a Soul Red RF GT, I believe you made a great choice!

@livetodrive Thanks! One quick question, I tried to link a picture (imgur) and either it pasted where I couldn't even see the link, or if I could see the text it removed it. Not quite sure the best way to post a photo on this forum software.

Hello, and Welcome to a super friendly and drive oriented Miata Club. Our drives usually consist of driving our beloved Miata roads followed by a picnic lunch or an ice cream stop. On a good day, it is both of those.

Looking forward to meeting you. We have a Flash Drive scheduled for this Thursday if work doesn't happen to get in your way.

Walter

Welcome and congrats to your new found addiction!!!

To answer your question, me.  Bought my NC in January of 2015 from a dealer in Arkansas.  I flew out and drove it home on summer tires.  Wasn't too bad until I hit West Virginia during a snow storm.  Wet slushy snow + summer tires = some puckering in the seat.  I'd do it all over again though!

Now I have a set of proper winter tires for winter season driving.

It's possible that WordPress didn't allow you to link a photo because you're a new site user.  The site usually won't allow certain activity from new users until they have posted several replies in existing threads.  But, this rule seems to be inconsistently applied 🤔.

Anyway, if you clicked the "Choose file" button, at the bottom of your post, then selected a file on your device and linked it, the link should appear in your post (note that, for multiple photo links in a post, you may have to save the post each time, then go back into it, via "Edit", and link any successive photos).  Unfortunately, the website will only show the link in your post, not the actual photo.

Try adding another post to this thread and see of you can now enter a photo link.

@trdd if you would like to put a picture on our Facebook page,  that is easy as pie. Heck, I put pictures there several times a week!
