Event Leaders: Dave Povenski, driver (a.k.a. the stig) & Michele Kane, navigator.
Limit of 10 cars + ours (total of 11). If more than 10 sign up, you will be waitlisted. We often have cancellations. If you are new to the club and haven’t done one of our drives yet, I suggest you don’t start with this one.
Paid members will be given priority.
NOTE: We will be leaving precisely @ 9:30. Gas, restrooms and food are available at the WEIS and at the nearby Wawa. Plan accordingly. We want to get to Buddy's at a less busy time for brunch.
Because we use the facilities at Hawk Mountain for this drive, Polar Bear and occasionally others, I would appreciate each driver donating $5 to help them out with the wonderful work they do. I will collect during the driver's meeting. Thanks in advance!
THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT.
Length: 170 miles of some very entertaining roads, one of which we will run in both directions. You may want to bring a snack and beverage - and you must have a full tank of gas at the start.
Stops: Hawk Mountain (mi 32), brunch at "Buddy's Log Cabin" (mi 62), Onvo (mi 115), and Heisler's Cloverleaf Dairy for ICE CREAM (mi 150), and finishing at Eight Oaks Farm Distillery & Kitchen (mi 170)
Needless to say, this is an all-day drive. Plan accordingly!

I’m going to bail out. 50 degrees with steady rain is a terrible day to drive a sports car.

I know this is a rain or shine event, I was hoping for a change in the forecast but no luck. With the additional 3 hrs to and from the event I’m going to bail out! If y’all still go, be safe and have fun!! Thanks, Joe I
I am going to bail out as well. Tomorrow looks like a good day to stay in the garage and do some much needed maintenance (transfer case and rear differential oil) on my wife's CX-5.
I am going to beg off due to weather. I hope it turns out better than the forecast. Sorry to miss it. Have fun.
Jim
