After doing my Pre-run, I considered calling this the Covered Bridge Tour, as we go through FIVE COVERED BRIDGES total, and one of those, twice.
When: Saturday July 10th! Meeting at 6:30, Rollout at 7:00
Where: Upper Macungie Dog Park at end of Haasadahl Rd. Fogelsville, PA
Join Louie and Corrina for a SHORT 39 mile Run. This is only an hour and ten minutes in length. The objective is to meet, drive on some really fun roads in that area, and ends at Rita's. Rita's closes at 10:00. I have invited Lehigh Valley Mini Club to join us again, Making this the 2nd LV M&M ever! Come out and join the fun!
This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety. To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet. Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).
We will use FRS radios for communications. Be sure to arrive by 7:00 p.m. with a full gas tank and an empty bladder .

There must be a tech-savvy way to do it - I used a rather laborious method of adding a pin to the Google earth map, then C/P the coordinates into a label for the pin, then taking a screenshot and saving it as a photo to post.
Being able to download coordinates from a website directly into a GPS would be great, because, really, who wants to punch in all those numbers?
I haven’t figured out how to do that using the Mazda Connect system yet, but probably using Apple or android devices one could utilize the coordinates from a link more seamlessly. But then I’m back to using my phone for guidance…albeit through the Mazda Connect screen.

So sorry, but something has come up at the last minute-- a vertigo migraine. Car was cleaned up, tires checked. So disappointed. I hope you all have a good time. Wish I were there. . . .
Marianne
Great drive at good speed. Nice mini turnout as well.
@triviawayne Thanks Wayne! I was super impressed by the turnout, especially on such short notice! Thanks for joining us tonight!

@marianne so sad that you weren't able to make it. Check out the pictures on our Facebook page. We had an NC join us who was driving by, we had Tony come down from Scranton, hoping that it was worth it, and he was very happy. We have LOTS more rides this year!

I think I passed all of you coming out of a covered bridge. Just bought it 2 days before that. Soul red 2021 Miata RF. I am up in the Poconos but might see if any of your runs are up this way.

Saturday, July 24th - Penn's Peak "Roadies" for Lunch and Annie's Ice Cream.
This may be a Drive that would interest you. We begin in the Lehigh Valley, run Pocono Roads and end back in the Lehigh Valley. After running those Pocono Roads, you could peel off anytime.

@whybu1 You must have passed us. It is rare to see a herd of Miatas in the wild, that is not a Club event!.
Thank you for registering on our website. As you can see, we are very active. Our drives have members come from as far as Lancaster in the west, and Brooklyn to the east. I would think that you would not be disappointed.
BTW, as an owner of a Soul Red RF, I applaud your choice in cars!
