Join Annette as she leads us on a Drive through Lehigh and Berks County roads to begin the start of our Christmas Holiday Season.  After driving 37 miles in an hour and a half, we will arrive at Russel Stover Chocolates for some sweet treats   https://www.russellstover.com/store-466   .  We continue to the neighboring parking lot to enjoy a late lunch / early dinner at Red Robin’s. Note, this is indoor dining only.  They are providing us our own section so we can enjoy the company and conversation of each other. They also provide a gluten free menu.  If you would rather, Five Guys, Burger King and Subway are in the same area.

Following lunch we continue another eighteen miles to Koziar’s Christmas Village.   https://koziarschristmasvillage.com   . We will enjoy a walk through beautiful lights and animation displays.  Let’s not forget the hot chocolate and gigantic Santa Claus.  Koziar’s Christmas Village will be the end of the Drive.  We can stay as long as we like.  Traveling home is on our own.

This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety.  To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet.  Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).

We will use FRS radios for communications.  Be sure to arrive by 1:30 p.m. with a full gas tank and an empty bladder 😏.

You may want to bring ear plugs, lol. Dave was behind me last week or two and couldn’t tell what gear he was in 🙂 Sorry Dave 🙁

2.5” ISR catless down pipe to a GWR Street axle back and Fab9 tune for go fast. It’s louddd but much louder for those behind me. Oops. It does make a decent difference in acceleration; why I keep it.

Add Brian,  but I reserve the right to substitute my Mini Cooper if the weather isn't dry,  as it's the end of the season and as per usual the tires I bought this spring are already shot.  😂

Gee, I wonder why Brian's tires would wear out so quickly... ? 🤔 😆

Ok guys and gals so the preliminary weather forecast is going to be dry….but colder.

Now, it won’t be unusually cold for this time of year here, but considering the 70s we’ve had this past week it will feel quite different.

Morning low temps look around 32 ish and a high temp of 45-48. Of course it’s several days away so the temps may be adjusted.

Not feeling so well, will see how I feel in the morning. Sorry. Don’t know if it’s allergies (it may be) - I’ve been sneezing like a crazy person.

Anyways tomorrow will be dry and high of around 53 in the Valley, a little cooler up north and warmer (maybe 58) further south.

Todays forecast edit:

The models are trending to have the higher temperatures coming up a few degrees, HOWEVER- there is now a chance of scattered showers especially south of the Lehigh Valley, more likely towards the Delaware Valley (approximately 65% chance)

High temps should be around 62-64 down there and 56-58 in the Valley/Berks county area. Could be worse. Western Pennsylvania will see lake effect snow showers - even Pittsburgh today.

But get this. For this coming Tuesday & possibly Wednesday, there’s a chance for some snow or wintery precipitation for the Poconos. Does not appear to be anything major at this point but the chance exists once you get up near Mount Pocono.

Not sure if I can make this one. Just woke up again. Feels like allergies but may not be.
