Gathering Point: Sheetz on Tatamy Road, 100 Trolley Line Drive, Easton, PA (just off route 33)  -  although we will be using Sheetz for fuel, breakfast snacks and restrooms, we will be gathering in the parking lot area of WoodSpring Suites behind the Sheetz Station

Departure Time: 10:00

Join Walter for a 92 mile Drive in Northampton and Monroe Counties into the Pocono Mountain Region. Both legs of travel are an hour and a half in length. We will be having a picnic lunch at Big Pocono State Park which sits atop Camelback mountain. On a clear day, Big Pocono State Park provides wonderful views of the Delaware Water Gap, Wind Gap and the Lehigh Gap, as well as views into the Northern Pocono Mountain Region. Hopefully, we will also see some Fall colors, both on our Drive and during lunch. 

The Drive will end with Blue Moo Ice Cream on route 946 just North of Bath.

Big Pocono State Park provides picnic benches, however, if you care for back support, you may want to include camping chairs in your trunk. The Park also provides restrooms.
