The New Hope Automobile Show Summer 2021 Cars & Coffee will be held from 8 am to 11 am on Sunday, August 8 at Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA:

https://newhopeautoshow.com/cars-and-coffee/

This event is free and open to all years, makes, and models.  A group of LVMOC cars parked together would be a beautiful sight.

New update on where we will meet, as the bathroom at Lukoil may be closed anyway. This is a suggestion by Mike Cory, which makes sense to me, so we will follow his suggestion:

Since people are coming from many different directions, perhaps it would be best to let everyone find their own rest stop enroute, then meet at 7:15 am in the big parking lot behind the Lahaska UMC (intersection of Street Rd and York Rd (263) before proceeding to the C&C lot just down the road.

The event STARTS at 8:00, so if we meet at 7:00 - 7:15, and head over at 7:15, we should be there by 7:30.

If anyone with more experience with C&C would like to chime in, telling me that 7:00 is too late, please do so.

Some may say... (in your head you should hear Jeremy Clarkson) this isn't an official LVMOC event since there really isn't a drive involved here... but I say that it isn't often that we get to show off our cars en masse to the public. Plus it may lure other Miata folk to join our Club. So I will place a sign up to this event to see how many of us will represent. If there are enough, I will see if I can do a Run back to the Valley.

Attending:

  1. Louie and Corrina
  2. Annette
  3. Mike C.
  4. Jeff
  5. David & Lori
  6. Joe and Tina
  7. Annette
  8. Tom K.
  9. Greg & Steph

So what time would we need to get there, in order to form a group? Any idea?

@livetodrive  Best to meet somewhere nearby and drive in together.  Or drive there as a group.  Or both.  Usually there are no reserved spots.  It's first come, first served.  Or first parked.

I like to arrive early, but it's not absolutely necessary.  It depends on the event and the weather.  Some are really crowded, others not so much.  People, and vehicles, come and go, and you don't have to stay until the end.

This one will probably be big, so arriving early would be better if we want to park as a group.

@mike-c I have only gone to the one at the Steelstacks. Do you have a rendezvous spot that comes to mind for this one?

@livetodrive There appear to be several parking lots surrounding Peddler's Village, and there is a WAWA at the intersection of 202 & 413 in Buckingham, which is not far away.  I'm sure a suitable meeting point could be found.

Well that would be interesting. Meet just up the road at a designated time, and all Miatas roll in together.

@mike-c pick a spot. The Wawa seems reasonable to me. Pick a time. I will be there, and I will promote the hell out of this. I enjoy C&C, and we need to represent!

This does sound interesting and I would be down for meeting up somewhere to roll in together.

@livetodrive The WAWA is Buckingham is not a good meeting place.  No bathrooms.

Since most LVMOC members will probably approach Peddler's Village from a direction other than mine (I'll be approaching from the south) another meeting place might work better.

Well then. I guess someone will have to Google Earth the area.

@livetodrive   Done.  If we're looking for a place to gather, there's a giant parking lot just northeast of Peddler's Village, behind the Lahaska United Methodist Church.

It's no more than 1/8 mile from the specified entrance to C&C.

Very good Mike.  Just throwing this out there... There is a Lukoil 10 minutes away, that looks like it has a reasonable sized parking lot and I believe has a bathroom.

Address is 440 E Swamp Rd in Doylestown. A bathroom might be good.  Thoughts?  I am good either way.  I am just thinking of others.

@livetodrive  The Lukoil station you mentioned is not very far out of the way for me, and it does look like a good place to meet.
