I recall when I read the news about Lou's passing, it was maybe the day before his funeral and there was no way I was going to be able to attend. In the time that I knew him, he was always so kind and we could laugh about anything. It's always bothered me that I couldn't properly pay my respects.
Every September, Marie and I visit the cemetery where her parents and grandparents are buried. Yesterday, after our stop in Hopelawn, Marie wanted to head to St. Gertrude's where another family member is buried.
While there, I looked up where Lou's resting place is and payed a visit. His resting place is a nice spot with lots of shade and the grave stone is glossy black, just like his Miata.
You are missed, Lou. Rest in peace.

Thanks for remembering Lou, Fred. Yes, we miss him, and we often think of him... he was one-in-a-million.
