What's the most miles you drove your Miata in one day?
What's the furthest you took your Miata on a road trip?
I don't get to go on road trips anymore like I used to, but I did go to Columbus, Ohio last year for my Jeopardy audition (I'm in the contestant pool, but they can't call me until COVID rules allow them to).
450 miles door to door, then another 20 miles round trip to go into town and meet some friends at a bar for a trivia night, so 470 in one day, but 450 for the road trip.
I think our longest one-day mileage was about 200. The longest round-trip was around 400 miles.

mine was 920 round trip, done in about 36 hours time.
October, 2019 while on our way to the Gathering of the Green (1991 BRG's) in Harrison, Arkansas.
Nancy and I enjoyed thirteen hours together in our '91, while driving 631 miles, which was the first leg of our travel, to Indianapolis, Indiana.
When I purchased my 2003 Shinsen I flew to Melbourne FL where the salesman picked me up at the airport and took me to the dealer in Space Coast, FL. After signing the paperwork and getting a later start on the road than I wanted, I stopped in Savannah, GA to meet up with friends for dinner than drove to Manning, SC where I stopped at a hotel to get some rest for an approx. total of 417 miles. The next day I finished the trip home to Easton which was approx. 647 miles. Odometer total for the trip was 1,092 miles.
Nine months later I flew to Bentonville, AR where I bought my 2008 SE and drove her home. Odometer total for this trip was 1,235 miles. On the first leg, I made a stop in Carthage, MO where I took some pics of the Precious Moments Museum for Tam. From there I stopped at Fort Leonardwood, MO where I got a picture of the Miata in front of the hospital where I was born, many years ago. I drove on to Terre Haute, IN where I stopped for the night. The next day I finished the drive home.
In August of this year I bought my 2016 GT ST from a dealer in Little Rock, AR. Sadly I could not do another fly and drive as I was awaiting hernia surgery. Longest one day drive I have done in the last few months has been 376 round trip miles to New Britain, CT where I met my buddy from Boston, MA at a car show.

My longest roundtrip was back in January. I drove my Fiata to Des Moine, Iowa to canvass for Andrew Yang running in the Democratic Primary. It's about 2,100 miles round trip, roughly 4 days on the road, each average about 525 miles.
Evidence that my Fiata was there:

Location is the corner of Hampton Inn at downtown Des Moines:

7,800 miles in six weeks. Paoli, PA to Monterey, CA to Miata's 25th Anniversary at Laguna Seca and back via LA. Replaced two headlight bulbs and an oil change in LA.

In October of 2017 I drove my 2003 Shinsen Version from my home in Pequea, PA to Wytheville, VA, about 388 miles. So far that's the most miles I've driven a Miata in one day.

@bergy I really want to take my Fiata to Laguna Seca and California Hwy 1. Glad to know you've done it!! Here's a video of my inspiration https://youtu.be/IIN_aoS4Wgk
In 2014 Started in NJ stopped in PA and then on to Chicago. Followed RT 66 to California, up the coast to Monterey for the Miata Reunion and the 25th anniversary of the Miata at Laguna Seca. Then back to NJ.
Not many miles in any day but all in all 8,500 miles in 8 weeks. Wonderfull trip, would do it again in a heart beat.
@greyghost11 wow that proves this group has no shortage of passionate Miata adventurers. Wondering if anyone has taken the next step by taking them outside of US or even more, to other continents? Reason I'm asking is I'm very eager to bring my Fiata to Europe.
Something like 340 miles from western PA back to the valley, on the day I got back in August.
There were *ZERO* 2020 soft top clubs in soul red crystal (and 6MT) anywhere. The closest one was near Pittsburgh and there was one in Maine.
A BBS/Brembo/Recaro club was coming into Young Mazda in Easton but not until this past October (which at the time seemed a lifetime away). It was in machine grey metallic, and while I do like that color, IMO the SRC really pops more. There was also a black RF GT w/ beautiful red Nappa leather at Scott Mazda in Allentown, however they don’t have the Club stuff. There was a SRC sport down the shore in NJ: however the Sport while being about $6k less than the club has no LSD, no Bilsteins, no aero kit, 16” smaller wheels, the cheaper stereo, missing a lot of the club stuff etc. So, I rented a car to drive out towards Pittsburgh and got 1 of 2 on the east coast that week. It was a pain but glad I got it. Love the car. (Oh and the dealer reimbursed me for the rental car).

I got mine in Connecticut on Veteran's Day in 2016, so my first drive with the car, other than the test drive, was in major traffic coming back from Stamford. Had the dealer plate on it for over a month until all the paperwork went through.
Since January 1, 2017 was the first day PA stopped putting registration stickers on plates, I waited a couple of weeks until that date to order my plate.

Is yours the club? Or have the sport package on it? If so I can see why you drove so far- I’ve found that the NC3 PRHT w/ the GT goodies are quite rare in 6MT. my theory is Mazda had a ton of automatic transmissions left over and stuffed them in. If you go to Carvana.com most of the 2013-2015 PRHTs are automatics.
My ‘12 NC2 I bought in spring 2019 was quite a find. It was the GT PRHT but also had the Bilsteins, HIDs/tech/convenience packages, black leather seats, BOSE, AND it was a 6MT. I sold it to Carvana and it was gone within a half hour of them listing it (Carvana cut me a $16,500 check when the Mazda dealer wouldn’t give me a dollar over $12k for a trade in for my current) It’s crazy they are all automatics over there except for the soft tops.
