NEW CLUB DRIVE/EVENT APPROVAL PROCEDURE

At its August 29, 2022, meeting, the LVMOC Executive Board established the position of "Event Coordinator".  The Event Coordinator is responsible for reviewing all proposals from LVMOC members to add a drive or other event to the Club's Event Calendar.  This new position will be held by the Club's elected Governor (currently Ken Hill).

The Event Coordinator will determine that the requested date for a drive or other event is available and that the person proposing it is a current, paid member of the Club.

PROCEDURE: 

  1. Any LVMOC member wishing to propose a Club drive or event must send the proposal to the Event Coordinator by Private Message on the LVMOC website forum.  The forum username of our current Event Coordinator is "Ken Hill".
  2. The outline for the event's topic, in the "Upcoming LVMOC Events" forum, must be sent to the LVMOC webmaster at "treasurer@lvmoc.net".  This outline should include the starting location, the meeting and departure times and any notes or restrictions to be included in the forum topic.
  3. When the webmaster receives notification of approval (from the Event Coordinator) and the forum topic outline, he/she will post the drive or event to the LVMOC website forum and to the Upcoming Events Calendar.
