Walter noticed that the Club had nothing scheduled on its event calendar for Saturday, September 10, so he set out to remedy that!

We will repeat a drive that Walter introduced to our Club in 2021 on a 90-plus mile route through Lehigh and Berks counties.  Some of the roads are Club favorites and others will be of the new variety.  The first leg of travel is approximately an hour and fifty minutes, and we will stop at Leaser Lake for our Rest Stop.  Our next leg of travel is approximately an hour and forty-five minutes.  The drive will end in New Tripoli, at the Eight Oaks Distillery , as nearly as possible to 2:00 p.m., for lunch.  Of course, you may participate in a tasting of the 8 Oaks products, if you so choose.

This drive will be limited to 12 cars, (Walter will accept two more cars, for a total of 14 cars 😊) with paid LVMOC members having sign-up priority.

This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety.  To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet.  Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).

We will use FRS radios for communications.
