This Drive is being postponed due to Thunderstorms being forecast for Saturday.

When -                   Saturday, Date TBD, 2024

                              Arrive:                          8:30 a.m.                                                   

                              Drivers' Meeting:           8:45 a.m.                                  

                              Depart:                        9:00 a.m. 

Where -                 Weis Markets (North End of the parking lot near gas pumps)

                             7801 Glenlivet Drive 
                             Fogelsville, PA            Location

Good News - I just returned from my pre-run of Saturday's Drive and all roads are open and no issue with oil and chips.

Join Walter for another 100 mile weekend Drive to re-stock on your kettle potato chips. Note, the Departing time is 9:00 a.m. so we can avoid as much of the forecasted temperature of 90 degrees as possible. The first leg of travel has us leaving Lehigh County and traveling West forty-five miles into Berks County to our rest stop at Redner’s Market on Route 183 - as Dieffenbach’s does not provide rest room facilities. We then continue with a twenty minute drive to Womelsdorf - the home of Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips. Our second leg of travel is twenty-five miles to the Sheetz Station in Shoemakersville for a rest stop. Our final leg of travel has us driving another twenty-five miles to Madeline’s restaurant in Fogelsville for our 1:00 lunch reservation.

Please indicate whether or not you will be staying for Lunch.

Your registration in this Forum thread confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, and we will consider your post to this event thread, stating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).
