Join Walter on a drive to Roadies Restaurant and Bar, at Penn’s Peak, to enjoy a patio lunch overlooking the Penn Forest. Following lunch, we will travel fifteen minutes to Annie’s Ice Cream in Jim Thorpe. On the way to Annie’s, we pass the Jim Thorpe Memorial, where we can stop, if anyone is interested. The total driving distance is approximately 120 miles. Our route begins in the Easton area, driving Northampton County roads and crossing the Blue Mountain in the Wind Gap area. After our rest stop at Weiss Markets in Brodheadsville, we continue traveling over both Monroe and Carbon County roads. The drive returns via the Lehigh Gap and ends at the juncture of routes 895 and 248.

@corrina-draxler Yeah Austin is usually my movie buddy, we like to see Marvel movies on the big screen. We saw Black Widow last weekend at the Northampton Regal. 🙂 Now he wants to try a turn in the passenger seat. 😆

Uh-oh! Now you've done it. Our President LOVES Marvel movies. Sounds like it may be a "three person" movie night once he reads this thread.
Please and Dawn and Tom, Thanks

As someone who has seen Black Widow twice, both in 3D, I highly recommend seeing it (and all Disney movies) in 3D. They do not spare any expense at the 3D conversion. From Natasha riding her bike, to falling from the sky, the 3D is so good you feel like you are in the room with them. Then, after seeing Black Widow for Real, You need to go see Jungle Cruise in 3D next week. I saw the trailers in 3D and neither of you will be disappointed.

Lovely day, Walter… thanks! Great selection of roads, one of our favorite lunch spots, tasty ice cream… it doesn’t get better than that 😎!
Once again, we welcomed some new faces. I hope that they enjoyed the drive, too!
Also learned that Greg and Steph are fellow Penn Staters… “We Are”!

Great job today Walter. It amazes me that you find and string together so many great roads.
I am pleased to see new faces on our rides. Fortunately we have a lot of fuel in our tank for the rest of the season!

Thanks to everyone who came out for today's Drive. Always a pleasure to lead such a welcoming group of Miata enthusiasts. A huge thanks to Corrina and Louie and Annette and Jim. Great job today - as always.
Steph and Greg were a wonderful addition to our group. And a true joy to have Terry and her son, Ian come over and introduce themselves to our group. A shame they left their Miata back in Virginia.
