Event Leader - Walter Cramer
Walter will host a ride on July 25, 2020, to Klein Farms Dairy and Creamery, in Forks Township north of Easton, PA. The drive will leave from the Shell station at the intersection of PA Route 329 and Howertown Rd. (east of Northampton on 329) and travel eastward along the southern side of the Blue Mountain to the Delaware Water Gap, where there will be a comfort break at the Delaware Water Gap Rest Stop. NOTE - The Rest Stop has a picnic table area... please bring a snack or picnic lunch with you. Also, if you can fit them in, consider bringing camp chairs or folding chairs along, which will aid with the social distancing. From there, the route ventures over more of the twisty roads of northern Northampton County to our yummy dessert rewards at Klein Farms, 410 Klein Road, Easton, PA.
This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety. We will require that all participants maintain six-foot social distancing, and we will require masks to be worn when not in our cars (or stuffing our faces with ice cream). To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet. Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).
This drive will be limited to 15 cars, including the leader, with priority given to paid LVMOC members. If the 15-car limit is not met, we will open the drive to non-members.
We will probably use FRS radios for communications.

@flying-dutchman autozone will hook up a scanner for free and tell you why the light is on. As long as the light isn’t blinking, you can drive it.
Thanks, Wayne. Tomorrow I should have time to go to AutoZone and have it checked.

A big "Thank You" to Jerry Brubaker (JerryB) for stopping by our house today, with his trusty OBD analyzer 👍! As I suspected, the problem is with the evaporative emission system (yes, the gas cap is tight!). So, until it goes to Young's next week, the car can be driven with no harm to anything. But, I don't want to show up for a drive with a Miata that isn't at 100%... if a more serious related issue should develop, I wouldn't want to burden the rest of the group with my problem.
Have fun, folks!

I won't be able to make it either, darn it. A long drive the day after emergency dental surgery just is not in my books this weekend. Y'all have fun!
Janice and I will attend on July 25.

Please add Jim & Melissa for the 25th - and thank you all for the congrats, we’re really looking forward to all of the upcoming runs (and ice cream) this summer!

Hope it is a simple fix for you Dave!
I am good for the 25th!
2016 ST Ceramic Metallic GT aka Ghost
Alison and Mike will be there on July 25th.
2017 RF Club, 6MT, Arctic White
Bill and I will not be able to join everyone on the 25th because we will be celebrating my grandson’s 5th birthday. Gail
Evan and I will be there on the 25th.
For tomorrow, the 11th, there is no rain predicted in the Reading area all day. I promised Evan a drive with the Miata Club tomorrow and after 4 months trapped in the house, I suspect cancellation will go down very poorly with him. Therefore, I will be taking a drive in my Miata tomorrow around mid-morning. If anyone wants to join me, please text me at 484-577-1977 or e-mail at kenhillmx5@comcast.net.
