Join Walter for a re-run of his June 8 drive!  We we will again visit a blend of our beloved Miata roads and touring roads in Northampton and Lehigh Counties.  The first leg of travel has us beginning the Drive at the Shell Station at the intersection of Route 329 and Howertown Road and ending 44 miles later at the Sheetz Station on Route 863 for our rest stop.  The second leg has us traveling 40 miles to Fogelsville, were we will be enjoying a delicious lunch at Madeline’s Fogelsville Restaurant.  We will arrive at Madeline's at about 1:00 p.m.

PLEASE LET WALTER KNOW IF YOU WILL BE STAYING FOR LUNCH!!

This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety.  To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet.  Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).

We will use FRS radios for communications.  Be sure to arrive by 9:30 a.m. with a full gas tank and an empty bladder 😏.

Thank you Mike, Jacqueline, Tom and Dave for your kind words. Always a joy when the group has had a good time on one of my Drives. As always, a HUGE thank you to my Middle Relay team of Janice and Dave and my Tail Team of Corrina and Louie. As I have always said, "the relay team and tail team make my leading the group so much easier". And Janice and Corrina are so good in their use of their FRS radios. And thank you to others who were using your FRS to notify the group of situations.

@jacqueline

I am so happy you are enjoying joining the Club on our Miata Drives. Having only driven with us twice, I am amazed at how well you are doing. I was watching you in my rear view while driving today. You were doing a great job in keeping a tight group.

Thank you for the well wishes with our grandchildren. As they reside in Calgary, Canada, and because of Covid, it has been close to three years since we have seen them. Nancy and I are so looking forward to our time with them.

Also looking forward to offering more Drives in late July.

Walter
