Join Walter on another new Drive. This Drive has us driving 85 miles of a blend of touring roads and our beloved Miata roadways in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The route has us departing the WAWA in Easton, crossing the “free bridge” at Northampton Street, driving through Warren and Hunterdon Counties and eventually ending our New Jersey roads in Frenchtown.

The second half of the Drive has us crossing the Frenchtown bridge into Pennsylvania.  We will travel South on route 32 and drive roadways in Bucks and Northampton Counties and eventually arrive at The View at Morgan Hill for lunch.

WHERE: We will be meeting at the WAWA, 310 Larry Holmes Drive, Easton. Sunday April 18

WHEN: The driver’s meeting is  at 9:45 a.m. we will depart at 10:00 a.m.  Please arrive by 9:30!

PLEASE NOTE:  THE REST ROOMS AT THE SHELL STATION, McDONALD'S AND WAWA ARE NOT AVAILABLE. THIS IS ONE TIME YOU DEFINITELY WANT TO ARRIVE WITH AN EMPTY BLADDER.

HOWEVER, 20 MINUTES INTO OUR DRIVE, THERE IS A QUICK CHECK GAS STATION IN NEW JERSEY THAT WE WILL BE STOPPING AT.

This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety.  We will require that all participants maintain six-foot social distancing, and we will require masks to be worn when not in our cars.  To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet.  Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).

We will use FRS radios for communications.

Thanks everyone for coming out to the Club's first Sunday drive of the Season. So happy we were all able to enjoy a day of beautiful weather and fun driving roads. Thank you Louie and Justin for leading a group today and to their ever dependable tail duo, Corrina and Tara.

Many thanks to Dave and Janice for once again doing a remarkable job in being our groups tail today. A big thank you to Tina for taking over passing along directions when Walter was having mishaps with his FRS. Michele, your steady voice in the middle of the pack is very helpful. I just love the way people "step up" throughout the Drive to help out situations.

Here’s some photos I took at Wawa, QuickCheck, Morgan Hill etc.

At Wawa this morning. Absolutely loved this blue NA!

Mr. president’s gorgeous RF

My ‘20 ND & a fine NC2 PRHT- exact one and color I had before the red one.

Drivers meeting

Nice! Only second one I‘ve seen in person.

Parked across from Quick Check

On the way home I washed mine again and here it is with shiny tires and a beam of light coming down from the sky 🙂

Always a joy to sit and recap "yesterday" while looking at your photos.

Nice job with the photos and also making your Miata look so sharp.

Thanks, Walter, for hosting another fun day 👍.  I believe we had a total of  ~18 cars in the two groups... a great turnout for an early Springtime event.  It was nice seeing some of our newer members joining us, and we had the whole "Jersey" gang with us, as well... it's always fun having those folks along 🤪!  A big welcome to new member, Jonathan Palsi, on his first drive with us in his sharp, 3-week-old ND RF!

And, thanks to Nobu and Jordan, for posting all the videos and pics of the event!

Let's keep the good times rolling (Zooming?)!

Warren, so happy you and Celia were able to join us and even more happy that you had such a good time. I know Sunday drives fit your schedule the best. I am doing a drive this weekend and chose Saturday because it is the better weather day.

However, I am just about finished putting together my Hawks Nest Run and that will definitely be on a Sunday.

Again, I can say, I too enjoy Nobu's videos. I have viewed more today.
