Do you like driving with your Miata friends on scenic roads? Do you enjoy meeting new Miata enthusiasts? Do you like eating lunch? You can do all three on September 30 on a joint drive with members of the Mid State Miata Club of NY.
The route will begin at Ray Price Mazda, 6300 Route 209, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 and continue for about 90 minutes along a scenic path to Honesdale. There we will break and meet our NY counterparts. Afterwards, the caravan will drive approximately 30 minutes to end at Frank’s Place in Simpson PA for lunch. Ice cream, though not part of the “official” drive is available at McGee’s, just down the road.

Hey thanks for the update. Because I’m not 100% certain at this point, I will pass the baton to the next on the waiting list. Enjoy the drive!

I haven't made it to any runs this year. Work has been kind of screwing me over. Although the roster is full would you turn me away if I Wanted to go on the drive?
Sadly, Ralph & Becky will not be able to attend the joint drive.
please remove Louie and Corrina from the waitlist.

I just bowed out of the wait list. Ralph just withdrew from the actual list. It isn't a drive put together by our Club, so it isn't for us to bend the rules. I believe that Alison is the point of contact for this. Please message her.

@alwang0185 Hey Arnold, you are now in the number one spot on the wait list with an open slot available for the run! Please respond here if you would like to reserve this open spot or pass it along to the next driver in line. Thanks!
I have added you to the wait list @oldhippe. Either way maybe Alison will have some good news for you?

@oldhippe Recent cancellations mean that there is room for you on the drive. Hope to see you in the morning.
See you there.
Thanks to Alison for creating and leading a great drive! I know it was a lot of work and we all really appreciate your efforts. It was fun to meet members of another Miata club.
Alison, great day today. That bit of a heavy mist that stayed with us most of the day was not a deterrent to driving the awesome Miata roads you had chosen for us. Thanks for all your time and hard work putting this event together.
It was a pleasure to meet and converse with your Mid State New York Miata friends. Driving to Frank's for lunch was well worth it as well.
Another treat for our day was the changing colors of leaves we were able to enjoy. The route Nancy and I chose to drive home continued to have spectacular colors. Thanks again for an awesome day.
Thank You for introducing our Club to the Ray Price organization. They go out of their way to treat us very kindly with water, snacks and their grand insulated bags they gift us with. They are very kind folks.
Walter
There is plenty of thanks to go around!
First Nancy W. who agreed and followed through with organizing, designing, and leading the NY folks. Next, my supportive companions on the preruns, the administrators who promoted the event and all of the willing participants from both LVMOC and the Mid State Miata Club of NY. Walter and Nancy swept the LVMOC pack as we headed north, Michele and Dave P. did a great job as the middle car with the big group and last, but certainly not least, was the big group’s tail, Ron and Nancy. With the long list of people to thank, I hope that I have not missed anyone.
