Impromptu Drive! It is going to be almost 70 degrees today. I have off from work. It seems like a good day to go for an hour and a half drive.

Location: Upper Macungie Park one mile north of Fogelsville on Rte 100, at intersection with Haasadahl Rd

Time: 11:45, with noon departure

Destination: Wayback Burger on 309 in Schnecksville

This is now the 42nd Run of the year!

This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety.  To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet.  Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).

We will use FRS radios for communications.

Louie, any way you can relocate that "button" and let us know where it is located?

Sure. Under each topic category on the main page, such as: upcoming events; or Miata Chat there is a link that says to subscribe to new topics. Every time anyone creates any new topic at all, I get emails that moment. And anyone replying, I know as well. The link is orange so it sticks out.

This was a great run with great weather, a way to say goodbye to this season. I have a couple more steps to winterize the ND and she’ll be chillin’ til spring.

….the only good thing about this is it makes driving it again more exciting after not for a few months. And seriously, the Fab9 tune! While I’m here .. for any of you ND1 or ND2 guys, it makes an enormous difference for $350 and unlimited amount of tunes. They just emailed me the latest bc I have a mid pipe to add eventually and the fuel cut is 7700RPM. Also a “valet”’mode where the car won’t rev past 4500RPM or go over like 60mph if you say, I dunno, took the car in to a service station for an oil change and dropped it off. I dropped mine off at the one place and it magically had 16 miles on it for an oil change, and the guy had no explanation. I have one: joyriding employee(s) doing burnouts, and redlining the lower gears. Now I just upload the valet tune anytime I have to leave it unsupervised. 🙂 If you get a phone call with them reporting it won’t rev past 4500 you know why and it did it’s job 🙂

But yeah it was great to meet some new faces and Lou’s route was awesome, I forgot how smaller runs (less than 7/8 cars) can also be a lot of fun.
