When: Saturday October 28
Meet at 12:00 for Lunch
For those not wanting to eat lunch, arrive at 12:30 for an on-time departure.
Driver's meeting 12:30 or when everyone is finished eating and ready to drive.
Where: Mission BBQ 1775 Papermill Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610
Event Leader: Ken Hill
Join Evan and I for the best BBQ in the area and then a (hopefully) sunny, crisp fall day top-down drive in Berks and Lebanon counties. The drive is about 2.5 hour long. I'll post up the route mileage when I actually drive it. There are new roads to enjoy and old favorites, like Christmas Village Road, Charming Forge Road, and Sportsman Road, freshly repaved. Our drive will end at Twilight Acres Creamery where y'all can enjoy some ice cream. I'm going for a peanut butter cookie, myself. They have whoopie pies as well.
Mission BBQ is on the corner of Papermill Road and Berkshire Blvd. Please park on the Berkshire Blvd side of the parking lot because we will be leaving in that direction.

Hello Everyone. I drove my route today. The roads are fantastic. I want to move the meeting time up 1 hour to make sure we have plenty of time to arrive at the Twilight Acres Creamery. I hope this does not create a problem.

Thanks Ken for the great ride with the INSANE out of this world weather for almost being November. I actually got some sun burn on my face wherever my fedora didn’t cover. Some fun roads and good company..
Until we meet again….

Thank you Jordan. I'm glad you had a great time. I will do this again next summer but with a few small tweaks to make it even more fun.

It was great. I wish that that weather would last forever. Already freeze warnings up here tonight!
