Event Leader -        Walter Cramer

Join Walter on a new Drive that offers another 110 miles of a blend of our beloved Miata Roads and Touring Roads in both Northampton and Monroe Counties. This Drive has three legs. The first leg of travel has us leaving the Wawa on Schoenersville Road. However, we are actually gathering in the parking lot on the North side of Wawa. It is a more spacious area and you still have the availability of fuel, comfort facilities and breakfast treats.  Fifty one miles later we arrive at the Weis Markets at Route 209 for our Rest Stop.

Our second leg of travel has us driving farther North into Monroe County and thirty-five miles later we arrive at the Chestnuthill Star Diner in Brodheadsville to enjoy a delicious lunch. We have a 1:00 reservation.  PLEASE LET WALTER KNOW IF YOU WILL BE STAYING FOR LUNCH!

Enjoy your lunch but don’t fill up too much as our last leg of travel has us driving twenty-seven miles to the Blue Mountain Drive-In for our Ice Cream dessert.

Sadly, my situation has changed and I will not be able to join you for this drive.  It looks like you'll have near-perfect weather.  Enjoy!

Great drive!!!  With the drive down, the drive itself, then a trip to my brother in Reading and return to home I ended the day with a little over 230 miles.

Thanks, Mike. Did we ever luck out with the weather. A beautiful to be out and about in our Miatas. You certainly got your money / miles worth in driving your Miata.

I had a fun time leading those eleven Miatas. The group stayed nice and tight. Dominic and Cindy did another great job in being our Tail and keeping us together. A shame our leaves were more green than colorful.

Great drive, Walter... thanks!  Really nice, fun roads and perfect weather 😊!

Also, Janice and I liked the Chestnuthill Star Diner... the food was very good, and they did a nice job of accommodating our group 👍.  We've been driving past it for years, so we finally had the opportunity to give it a try!

Mike, you should get a prize for most miles traveled (not unusual, right?).
