Event Leader -  Walter Cramer

Join Walter for a late-season Drive to re-stock your kettle potato chips. The 100-ish mile drive has us leaving Lehigh County and traveling West into Berks County, stopping at Redner’s Market on route 183 for our rest stop.  We continue on our drive and arrive in Womelsdorf, PA - the home of Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips.  We will return to Lehigh County, via our beloved Miata roads, where we will enjoy a 1:30 - 1:45 reservation for lunch at Madeline’s Fogelsville Restaurant.

Visits to Dieffenbach's have become ritual pilgrimages for LVMOC.  If you have not yet tasted their chips (and other goodies), here's your opportunity (Walter has mapped a great route, also!).

Be sure to let Walter know if you will be staying for lunch at Madeline's!

NOTE: DUE TO THE POPULARITY OF THIS EVENT, WE WILL ADD A SECOND GROUP OF CARS, TO BE LED BY TOM AND DAWN HORVATH!

This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety.  To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet.  Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will consider your post to this event thread, stating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).

We will use FRS radios for communications.

First time I ever actually tried the chips, and yes they are quite good. I thought they were going to be some real expensive type, but they are better tasting and cheaper than run of the mill Lays and such!!
