Wednesday, April 20th is going to be another comfortable driving day (58 degrees), that was created especially for Miata owners. Please note the same Drive is being offered on the following Saturday (April 23) for those that cannot make the weekday Drive.
Join Walter on another mid-week drive, this time to re-stock on your kettle potato chips. The 100 - ish mile drive has us meeting at the rear of the Cracker Barrel at 7720 Main Street, Fogelsville, PA. We then begin our trek by leaving Lehigh County and traveling West into Berks County until we arrive in Womelsdorf, PA - the home of Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips. Traveling back into Lehigh County via our beloved Miata roads, lunch will be an option at Hops Fogelsville Hotel., which will hopefully offer outdoor dining.
Be sure to let Walter know if you wish to go to the restaurant!
This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety. To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet. Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will consider your post to this event thread, stating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).
We will use FRS radios for communications. Be sure to arrive by 9:30 a.m. with a full gas tank and an empty bladder .

Thanks to all who attended today's Drive. With the foul cold and windy weather on Tuesday night, I was a bit concerned as to this morning's weather. But we lucked out with another fun Miata day.
Thanks again to Michele, Janice and Dave for jumping in and leading the second leg of travel on today's Drive.
I was home in time to take Nancy to the Podiatrist in Quakertown and she received positive information. Thank you everyone for your well wishes.
Hoping you all enjoyed Summer Mountain Road.
Walter, we're happy that Nancy received a good prognosis from the podiatrist 👍.
As for the drive, yes, the weather turned out to be just fine for a cruise in the sun, and that route is always fun. And our cupboard is now re-stocked with goodies from Dieffenbach's!
On the return leg, I even threw in a "Lou-Turn", just to keep the tradition alive 😉.

Happy to hear that Nancy received a good prognosis! Summer Mountain Road was a blast and we were thinking of you as we drove its winding curves.
Yes, what a beautiful day for a Miata drive....in my head while lying on the couch recovering from my illness. 😉 The girls were quite happy with my chippie haul and the dill pickle chips and pretzels were the first bags ripped open.
Thank you again Walter!

Oh, I feel so badly.
So many great people help transform these Drives into absolutely exciting and wonderful events. And one of those folks is our Tail. The person who keeps us together and makes sure no one goes a wandering.
I cannot believe I forgot to thank our special Tail, Jeff. Once again, Jeff, Great Job.
I owe you big time. You have got a bag of dill chips and pretzels coming your way.
@rhetlaw don't be silly! You had a lot going on the other day and I always know that you appreciate when I tail. I figure it is the least I can do to help after all the hard work and time you put into creating these wonderful runs for all of us to enjoy!
You are too kind to offer but instead get your patient a bag or two, more, of her favorite chips to enjoy. I hope that she will be ready to join us soon on a run!!!
