Join Walter for another 100 mile Drive ending with a picnic lunch and ice cream. The Drive will enjoy many of our beloved Miata roads through Northampton County, picking up Route 611 for our last five miles of travel while driving through the picturesque Delaware Water Gap and stopping at the Delaware Water Gap Welcome Center for our rest stop. Our return route has us driving roadways through Monroe County and arriving atop Blue Mountain for our picnic lunch, followed by ICE CREAM for dessert at the Blue Mountain Drive-In.
NOTE - Due to forecasted rain showers, this will no longer be a Picnic Drive. Instead, we will proceed to the Blue Mountain Drive-In and dine indoors (or, if you wish, outdoors on their deck). Please let Walter know if you will be staying for lunch... you can text him at 610-509-7120.
This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety. To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet. Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).
We will use FRS radios for communications.

Thanks again Walter for yet another fun ride!
Thank You for your kind words. So happy weather was in agreement for our Drive today. Another HUGE shout to my Middle Relay, Michele, and my Tail Team, Jeff and Haley. As always, great job. You have heard me say this before but these folks make my being a leader so much easier. Compliments on more and more drivers using the FRS to point out various issues.
It was nice meeting and driving with Jordan Fallen and his Mom, Deanna. So glad they had a good time on the roads and enjoyed our Miata group. Looking forward to having them join us on future Drives.
Thank you again Walter! As always the roads travelled and the camaraderie of like minded enthusiasts was enjoyed by Haley and myself! To top it all off, you somehow got the rain to stay at bay too. Lol
It was wonderful to meet Jackie, Jordan and Deanna today also. Maybe next time we can spare Deanna the trauma of driving her mail route. 🤣
Tom, I was waiting for your scally hat to fly back into my cabin. Haha

Very nice drive, Walter... thanks! 👍 The weatherman was wrong again (thankfully), with no sign of showers. In fact, we rode top-up, just to keep out of the hot sun!
Welcome to Jordan and Deanna, whom we initiated into the gang with one of our better "Lou Turn" excursions 🤪!
And, the ice cream was an appropriate finale to a hot day!
