Join Walter for another new Drive. This Drive will be about 130 miles in length, with approximately 100 of those miles on our beloved Miata roads. The additional 30 miles is four lane travel back to our ice cream destination in the Lehigh Valley. We will have a rest stop at the Delaware Water Gap Welcome Center and picnic lunch at the Big Pocono State Park which at the top of the mountain above Camelback Ski Area and Water Park. For those interested, we will be ending the drive with Ice Cream at the Klein Farms Dairy & Creamery, north of Easton. With driving, rest stop, lunch and ice cream, this could end up being a 5 1/2 - 6 hour day. Of course, you can drive to your hearts content and pull off when you’ve had enough.
The views from Big Pocono State Park are exhilarating. Looking South we see the Delaware Water Gap to our left, Wind Gap area in the center, and the Lehigh Gap to our right. Looking North you will enjoy more great views of the Pocono Region.
We will be gathering at the Shell Station, 428 Nor Bath Boulevard, Northampton. The Shell Station is at the intersection of route 329 and Howertown Road. We will gather at 9:00 - ish with a Driver’s meeting at 9:15 and a departure time of 9:30.
This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety. To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet. Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).

Hello,
My name is Tim. I bought my first Miata an NB last year and became aware of you guys a couple weeks ago. I would like to come out and meet you guys for a ride this weekend.
Thanks!
Tim, thanks for pursuing our Club Drives. You are more than welcome to join us.
You will have a good time both with the folks and driving awesome Miata roads. We are a friendly group.
Looking forward to meeting you Saturday.
Walter
@t99em20 Hi Tim! We look forward to seeing and meeting, both you, and your car. We are glad that you have decided to join us on Saturday. May I ask how you heard of us? I ask because we work hard to get awareness out there, and feedback is always appreciated!

Jim, this is exciting news. You won't believe this, but I was just thinking about you and Melissa today and wondering how everything is working out.
So glad to hear you are able to join us on Saturday. I am sorry we won't get to see Melissa. It has been such a long time. But I am sure she will be enjoying her second and maybe even third cup of coffee.
@livetodrive Hello Louie, I am in Northampton County and wondered if there was a club in PA or NJ. I began googling and came across the website actually.
@t99em20 Thanks! I am laughing at this. So thank you! I have been flooding various Facebook groups and placing invitations on windshields, which I believe has helped, but Google is the one that rules them all!!!
I hope you enjoy our Run! There will be more! Plus we were invited to display our cars at an Airshow the following weekend. That should be fun!

@jim-turner Sorry to hear that you had to put the NB out to pasture. That ti grey and saddle brown was a great color combo! Congrats on your new RF though! 🙂 Looking forward to seeing you and the new car this Saturday.

Haha, yeah it was google. I'm not on facebook but I did see the page there also.
The airshow sounds pretty fun too.
