This is a Pre-run for this Saturday, October 3. Walter is doing an impromptu drive on Saturday and rather than doing this one alone, as he has for several times before this, he is inviting Club Members.
Meet up with Walter at the Cracker Barrel parking lot in Fogelsville at 9:00, with a drivers meeting at 9:15. Afterwards, there is outdoor dining at the Fogelsville Hotel.
Even though this is not an official event, any sign up for this event follows our standard operating procedure of signing up, is signing your waiver.
We will be using FRS radios.
This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety. We will require that all participants maintain six-foot social distancing, and we will require masks to be worn when not in our cars. I am unsure. She does fancy chips though!

Please add Arnold and Thanh to the list. She agreed to come on another drive! 😊
Arnold, wonderful news! Not sure whether the attraction is you, the fine folks here in the Club or the beautiful selection of Miatas. You'll have to let Thanh know there are no swing sets on this ride.
So glad you two will be with us.
It was great to see everyone today and meeting some new members!
Another great drive Walter, thank you for taking the time to put it together and looking forward to doing it again in a few weeks! 🙂 Let's hope we have the same beautiful Fall weather on All Hallows Eve.
Got home with the bags of goodies and our daughter proceeded to open every bag to try them. 🤣 Then she put me to work. Even though she moved out she wasn't letting me get out of putting the outdoor Halloween decorations in the yard (Halloween is her favorite Holiday).

Thanks Walter for your time and effort to put this together. The Fogelsville Inn was a good choice for lunch.
Thanks, Walter, for another fun day 👍! I don't recall ever having been on a "pre-run" with so many Miatas... 10 cars participated! I hope at least that many come out for the "real" event on 10/31!
BTW, congratulations on having only one "Lou-Turn"... our pre-runs typically include at least several of these 😉.

Thanks for all of the kind words. It was a joy to offer this pre-run to our Club members. I am so happy we had such a magnificent October day for driving. And once again, kudos to Janice and Dave working that tail end for us. The both of you never cease to amaze me.
Dave, can you believe I had difficulty with that Klines Mill Road turn every time I drove the route? The good news is doing so with the group we had Saturday. They are so forgiving, flexible, helpful and a joy to be on the Miata roadways with.
Walter, Sorry for being late to the post-party. That pre-run was a delight. If heaven has roads, I hope they are as nice as the ones you showed us on Saturday. Perfect weather, perfect roads, perfect number of Miatas, great people. All this and a bag of chips! Thanks.

Thank you, Tom. I am so happy you enjoyed the roadways and chips.
As I was reading your post, for whatever reason, I was reminded of those two kids in their Miatas in opposing traffic near Redner's. The one young man was driving a red 1992 Miata. In approaching us, he gave us the NA Miata wave with his headlights. You don't see that too often.
The next thing I hear on the FRS is Janice's voice saying, "they've turned around and are right behind us". Our Club members enjoyed chatting with them in the Redner's lot. That was a fun moment.
Hopefully they join the Club!

Janice and Dave gave them one of the "Club Cards" and much verbal information.
Louie, any idea how many Mini Coopers Tracey is bringing to Sunday's drive?
