Join us as PhillyMini leads us this year on one of my favorite events... an M&M Rally! This is where our Miatas get to play with other pint sized cars as we have a blast on twisty roads!

Some of you joined me earlier this summer for two evening M&M Rallies with Lehigh Valley Mini. You will likely see some of the same cars, as most of them also belong to PhillyMini.

Meeting time: 9:00

Driver Meeting 9:30

First group leaves at 10:00

Starting place is Mini of Allentown 4600 Crackersport Rd Allentown 18104

First leg has us stopping at Leiby's in Tamaqua for treats. Then we will get some great views of Tuscorora State Park mountains. Then we take a crack at the Weatherly Hill Climb, before ending at Penn's Peak.

This event is limited to 40 cars. 20 Philly Mini and 20 LVMOC.  This is the 35th drive this year!

This event will follow the current Pennsylvania rules for COVID-19 safety.  To avoid common handling of materials, we will email the directions to participants, for home printing, and we will eliminate the usual paper sign-in sheet.  Since the sign-in confirms your agreement with LVMOC’s standard Waiver and Release, we will now consider your post to this event thread, indicating that you intend to participate, to be your “electronic” signature, indicating your agreement with said Waiver and Release (copy available on request).

We will use FRS radios for communication.  MOA will have their dealership open for us to use their facilities. Please arrive with a full tank of gas.

  1. Louie and Corrina

I'm new to this group and to PA! Would you I be able to join in on this ride?

Johnny, saw your post on FaceBook that you're staying in the Hazelton area. Brian Wowak is doing his Catawissa Leak Rambler Drive out that way on October 23rd. Brian's Drive is loaded with great roads in that area. If your schedule allows, it is one you don't want to miss.

Walter

Well our steam locomotive is in the shop meaning my coal-shoveling services are not required this weekend,  so count me in.

@wowak

You need to get that beast converted to oil-fired, Brian.  The Durango and Silverton RR has converted several, but not all, of theirs... we just visited there.
