When - Tuesday, June 20th

Arrival Time: 9:00 a.m.

Where - Dairy Queen parking lot, 701 South 25th Street, Easton, PA (adjacent to the WAWA)

Driver’s Meeting: 9:15 a.m.

Departure Time: 9:30 a.m.

Event Leader - Walter Cramer

Join Walter on another new Drive. This Drive has us driving 110 miles of a blend of touring roads and our beloved Miata roadways in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We will be crossing the “free bridge” at Northampton Street and driving through Warren and Hunterdon Counties. Our first rest stop after 44 miles of driving has us at a Walmart SuperCenter in Hackettstown, NJ. Our nest leg of 39 miles has us arriving at Amanda’s Riverside Cafe in Upper Black Eddy, PA to enjoy a delicious lunch. Amanda’s is just across the Delaware River from Frenchtown, NJ. Our final leg of travel has us enjoying Miata roads in Bucks and Northampton Counties and ending in the area of the View Restaurant atop Morgan Hill.

If after lunch you would prefer to travel a more direct route back into the Easton area, you can opt to navigate North on Route 611 from Amandas.

Please indicate whether or not you will be staying for Lunch.

This Drive departs the Dairy Queen a bit earlier than normal. The reason being Amanda’s Riverside Cafe is known for its delicious cuisine, however, the parking is limited. This early departure will help us to acquire parking..

Sorry you are not able to join us Doug. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday for the Blue Mountain Drive-In and Lunch Drive. I have got a few roads on that Drive that I know you will enjoy.

We had a delightful group for my Amanda's Riverside Cafe Drive. The weather cooperated and all the roads were open. I want to thank Ron and Nancy for volunteering to be our Tail for the Drive. It was Nancy's first time of extended use of the FRS radio and she did a great job.

Although we only had nine Miatas in the group, it is always a joy to have Michele driving in the middle position. Michele passes information forward when needed and it is always helpful and appreciated. Also, thank you for leading the group to Ice Cream at the end of the Drive, Michele.

We also got to meet new members, Cindy and Dominic Federici in their " new to them " 2010 in very nice condition. With the smile on Dominic's face at the end of the Drive, I am sure we will be seeing him again.

Walter
