On Thursday, October 22, Walter will pre-run his 10/25 Fall Foliage Drive, and he is inviting LVMOC members to accompany him on his pre-run. The pre-run will begin at the same Sheetz location as the actual event (see previous link), but you should meet Walter at 10 a.m., rather than the meeting time of the actual event.

I would like to thank Dave for creating this Forum area for pre-runs and other events. This is an easy way for members to find pop-up events, such as a quick pre-run.
To those members wondering if an unofficial drive can be as nice as a sponsored one, look in the mirror. We are all good people. You will have fun, because our Club is full of people who look just like you! A Miata (or Fiata) enthusiast!

2016 ST Ceramic Metallic GT aka Ghost
Seven courageous drivers and their navigators met this morning for the Pocono Fall Foliage pre-run, the furthest of which drove in from the Doylestown area. We all drove through a cool, foggy morning and mist on our windshields. Sometimes even finding the need to apply our windshield wipers.
Within an hour of our drive, we were met with warmth and sunshine. It was a delight. Layers were actually removed until most were is short sleeve shirts. We enjoyed the Autumn colors the way they should be enjoyed.
We had just turned onto Hahns Dairy road getting ready to travel through the Covered Bridge. It was then we were met with 10 degree cooler weather and FOG. Looking up, you could not see the Blue Mountain Summit were we were having our lunch.
All in all, we took it in stride. We laughed and joked about it. Nothing was going to spoil our Miata day.
