The 56th Annual Duryea Day at Boyertown Community Park is scheduled for Saturday, September 3, 2022.  Last year there were over 700 vehicles on display at the show, but very few Miatas.

In an effort to remedy that, I’ve discussed Miata Club participation with the show organizers. They’re delighted to learn of our interest, and they’ve offered to designate an area for Miatas if I provide them with a car count ahead of time.

Information about the show, including lots of photos and a link to the registration form, can be found here: https://boyertownmuseum.org/duryea-day/

The park is well-shaded and there will be multiple food vendors on site throughout the day.  Ice cream will also be available, of course, and there’s a flea market in case you need some fleas.

Car show registration is $12 until August 26.  After that it’s $20. Save some money – register early!  Registration fees support the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, which is a very worthy cause.

This message is being shared with other Miata clubs and groups, which I hope will increase the number and variety of Miatas in attendance.

No drive this weekend?  No problem!  Shine up your Miata (you were gonna do that anyway) and join your fellow enthusiasts on Saturday at the Duryea Day 2022 car show in Boyertown, PA.  We'd love to see multiple examples of each generation represented.

Info link in the post above.  Be there or be square!

I would come down but have had plans for the Gathering of the Marques at Lime Rock Park this Sunday for a couple of months.  Meeting my buddy late Saturday morning to drive some of the roads in the area and then dinner followed by shining the cars up for the show on Sunday.

I hope that you were able to get a good showing of Miatae for the show, please let us know how many did participate!  🙂

As far as I know there were 10 Miatas at the Duryea Day car show.  Not all of them were parked in the same area, and it's possible there were a few I didn't see.

Next year we hope to be better organized.
