Greetings.., if driven in winter & early spring, looking for recommendations for after drive care..., washing/rinsing detritus of road junk, i.e., sand, salt, etc.

Yes, the dust is really ridiculous.  I sometimes have to shut off outside ventilation because it can irritate my eyes and make me cough.  Also, it's as slick as talcum powder on the road.  The only unintentional 360 I've done was coming out of a tight curve on a heavily brine-dusted road - like hitting wet leaves!  I fishtailed a few times but ultimately spun around at the curve's exit.  Very fortunate no one was coming the opposite direction.

Interesting, Jim.  Brine dust could be why I almost got the rear loose on an uphill hairpin turn several years ago.  I had thought it was due to running high performance summer tires (original on the car) in cold weather.  Both could have been factors.

Sorry to hear about the rust Jim.  My beloved P5 suffered the same fate a few years ago.  You have a PM coming.
