The CarBQue is scheduled for Sunday, May 23. Since there's nothing in the "Upcoming LVMOC Events" section one might be tempted to assume this date is still "tentative" due to the ongoing (never-ending?) pandemic.
May 23 is getting closer every day. Will there be a CarBQue this year?

Celia and Warren are planning to attend.
As long as everyone attending has had their last dose of the cootie shot by May 7th, I don't see any issue to prevent holding the event.
We'll be outside, we can distance a little while eating, and we can mask up when not eating.
Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
I get my second cootie on shot on May 4th, so I am good to go.

We are having an officer meeting on Sunday. This will be one of the discussions. We have already booked the park where we normally have it. Dave has to book it in the wee hours of the new year or we can't get it. I, personally, am pro-party, but we will post updates after the meeting.
On a related note: normally the officers would have had a meeting by now, but Covid had made that somewhat problematic. We have however, had over a half dozen drives before the end of April. That doesn't even include pre-runs. As your new President, I could not be happier!
- Membership is up!
- Participation is strong for events!
- Saturday Drives
- Sunday Drives
- Weekday Drives
- Several Spiders joined
- Funmeter is at 11
