By the way, take Walter up on his offer to tag along on a pre-run. He is tremendously helpful,  plus it will give you practice calling out turns and obstacles.

SO, I did another dry run yesterday taking advantage of the beautiful weather. 

This time I saved the exact mileage & road names and all of the relevant info for each turn(s) and anything else. The route takes us under a covered bridge which is part of the LHV covered bridge tour. Super nice. There are many very twisty windy roads that are so much fun, and here and there small portions where it’s windy in parts and with straightaways

As for the comfort break, we would pass Slopeside Pub @ Blue Mountain approx 2 hours into the drive.  They have a public restroom and there’s a perfect area overlooking the valley to take photos. See photos below of my silver NC w/ my friends mica Blue NC - potential there for some great group photos.

I think us meeting at the Nazareth Borough Park at 10AM w/ a 10:30AM departure is good; the planned route has us returning back there where we could finish with a stop at the Nazareth Diner or Red Robin, both of which are only minutes away, for whoever wants some food & drink at the end, or anyone who wishes to end it there is of course free to do so. If anyone has any ideas and a date is approved I will inform wherever chosen about our group. 

All in all, from the Nazareth Borough park, planned route, Slopeside pub comfort break and returning to around where we started and was a total of 98.2 miles - total time on the route there and back was just under 3 hours. It may actually be faster because I was driving super slow planning the route, or may cancel out with it being a group. If approved, up to 15 cars is fine with me, trying to get my neighbor w/ his NA2 to come as well.

I was thinking either Saturday October 10th or Saturday October 24th for this, as those dates are open to my knowledge, and could make the rain dates the Sunday following (10/12 & 10/25).

October 10 and 11 are taken. You may certainly take Saturday the 24th as far as I am aware.  I won't use that date for a run, if you want to use it.

As soon as you send Walter and I turn by turn directions, I will see about getting them out to members. Walter can use them to follow you on a pre-run.

I will create a sign up later tonight for this event. 

If Walter and I have your turn by turn directions, we can also fill in as ride leaders if more cars sign up. With that in mind, do you still want me to limit it to 15?

Great, his name is Jason Nuel and as of right now he says he’s coming. I believe he’s the youngest that will be there, even younger than I am, he’s low 20s I believe.  He drives a really nice NA2 (1.8 liter) - big wheels and some mods (exhaust intake body mods etc)
