Francis E. Walter Dam, Lake Harmony, Lunch and Ice Cream Drive

Walter is hosting another drive into the Pocono region which will include a visit to the Francis E. Walter Dam, on the upper Lehigh River, and a drive around Lake Harmony, a long-time Pocono resort area.

Lunch will be at the Snydersville Family Diner, an old favorite of folks living in that area, and the gang will proceed from there to Jane’s Ice Cream and Eatery, near Stroudsburg.

After a day of zooming on the Pocono-area roads, the return drive, from Jane’s back to the Lehigh Valley, will utilize less strenuous, four-lane roads.
