PMs have been added! You'll notice a new "Messages" menu option. Of note, for spam protection a user must have at least one undeleted post to send PMs.

Looking for the SOP on uploading a screen-shot of our ND to be associated with our name when posting to the Forum.  Thanx.

Dave, I really do hate posting my ignorance on a public forum, however, what is an "SOP"?

@rhetlaw

Let me take a guess at it, Walter... I believe it's Standard Operating Procedure.

Dave must be a military guy!

(Now, I have to find the answer to Dave's question 🤔)

@flying-dutchman

David, I believe I went to Profile, Account and scrolled to the "Avatar" area.

Here's how I did it, Dave:  Log onto the website and click on "Account", under "My Profile" in the second black toolbar.  Scroll down to the "Avatar" section, below your Display Name, etc.  You'll see three options, select the third, which is "Upload an Avatar".  Then, click on the "Choose File" button, which should open the file browser to your hard drive (assuming that's where you have the photo), and locate the photo file.  When you select and open the photo file, you should be able to upload it to your profile.  I recommend that you resize the photo first... I reduced mine to ~70 KB.  It's less complicated than it looks.

But, if you have your photos on a mobile device, I have no idea how to do it 🙄.  If this is the case, I recommend that you check with Louie Draxler or Jordan White... they're considerably younger than I, and they know how to do that stuff!  Louie's site name is livetodrive, and Jordan's is StormND2Club, if you want to PM one of them.

Yup, retired USAF pilot..., and thanx for the screen shot advice. tested a few upload pics with a resized pic and voila, it's there, but..., loads rotated..., so still working on it and reloaded default avatar placeholder in the meantime.
