SUMMARY:Kutztown Airport Diner Lunch Drive
DESCRIPTION:Walter is now hosting a weekend edition of this drive\, along the “zoomy” roads of western Lehigh and eastern Berks Counties.  He has mapped a route that encompasses some roads that we have enjoyed in the past and a fun selection of new-to-us roads. \nThe day’s driving will end with a 1:00 p.m. lunch at the Airport Diner\, in Kutztown (always good!).  Afterward\, if anyone is interested in ICE CREAM (are you kidding?!)\, Premise Maid is only 7 miles along Route 222 from Kutztown.  A visit there is a strong probability! \nCome along and enjoy this popular drive!

DESCRIPTION:For the third consecutive year\, LVMOC has had the good fortune to be invited to an event by Chapter 839 of the Eastern Experimental Aircraft Association\, on May 12\, 2024.  As in previous years\, there will be a pancake breakfast ($8 contribution per person)\, an aircraft fly-in and a car show (LVMOC member cars and classic British cars\, in this instance) at the Pegasus Airpark\, near Brodheadsville\, PA.  EAA Chapter 839 will have their aircraft on display and many will be taking off and landing on the airfield during the event. \nThe Keystone British Car Club has been invited to participate on the same date\, May 12\, so we will have the opportunity to “rub elbows” with the owners of many of the British cars that we “cut our teeth on” in the 1950s\, 1960s and 1970s. \nAfter this event\, LVMOC will escort the Miatas (and Brits\, if they wish) to an ice cream rendezvous at an ice cream destination (not yet determined). \nThe LVMOC participants should plan to arrive at Pegasus Airpark by 9:00 a.m. on May 12.  There is no organized group drive from the Lehigh Valley to the Airpark.

DESCRIPTION:Walter will lead a drive to lunch at the Copperhead Grille\, on Rte PA 378 in Center Valley\, PA.  This jaunt begins at the Dairy Queen\, on 25th Street in Easton\, PA\, and explores roads in the Lower Saucon Valley region of Northampton County.  After a “comfort break” in Hellertown\, the group will head onto the fun roads of Upper Bucks County before arriving at the Copperhead Grille\, which offers both indoor and outdoor dining. \nIf you are able to attend\, don’t miss this mid-week lunch drive!
