DESCRIPTION:This will be a repeat of our June\, 2021 event\, at which we had a really good time!  The tentative details of the 2022 event are essentially the same as those of 2021: \nChapter 839 of the Eastern Experimental Aircraft Association has invited us to attend\, on June 12\, a pancake breakfast ($7 per person)\, an aircraft fly-in and a car show (LVMOC member cars\, in this instance) at the Pegasus Airpark\, near Brodheadsville\, PA.  EAA Chapter 839 will have their aircraft on display\, and there will likely be some flying of R/C airplanes.  They have previously been joined at these events by other auto marque clubs\, such as an MG club.  After this event\, LVMOC will escort the Miatas to an ice cream rendezvous at Kline Farms Dairy and Creamery\, several miles north of Easton\, PA (this part has not yet been confirmed). \nThe LVMOC participants should plan to arrive at Pegasus Airpark by 9:00 a.m. on June 12.  There is no organized group drive from the Lehigh Valley to the Airpark. \nSounds like fun!  Be there!!

DESCRIPTION:Join Walter for a 100-mile Drive ending with a lunch and ice cream.  The Drive will travel many of our beloved Miata roads through Northampton County\, picking up Route 611 for our last five miles of travel while driving through the picturesque Delaware Water Gap and stopping at the Delaware Water Gap Welcome Center for our rest stop.  Our return route has us driving roadways through Monroe County and arriving at Blue Mountain Drive-In for lunch\, followed by ICE CREAM for dessert. \nAlthough this event was formerly billed as a “picnic lunch” drive\, there is a forecast of showers during the day\, so we will now end the drive at the Blue Mountain Drive-In (they have a varied menu)\, where we can enjoy lunch indoors (or outdoors\, on their deck).

DESCRIPTION:Annette will host a drive that will begin in Tannersville\, PA\, and will meander thru the hills and  valleys of northeastern PA.  The group will visit Ritter’s Farm Market\, between Scranton and Lake Ariel\, PA\, and then head to Tokyo Hibachi & Sushi\, in Dickson City\, PA\, for a late lunch.  There is also the likelihood of ice cream at the end of the day! \nThis drive will introduce LVMOC members to many roads that haven’t been included on previous drives.  Don’t miss it!

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 29\, Walter Cramer will host a nice drive along the twisty roads of Lehigh and Berks Counties\, eventually arriving at Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips\, near Womelsdorf\, PA.  Dieffenbach’s has become LVMOC’s traditional source of exceptional potato chips\, with many varieties to suit our tastes.  And the roads leading to that region are great for “zooming” in our little cars!  The drive will return to the Lehigh Valley for lunch at Madeline’s Fogelsville Restaurant\, where outdoor dining will be available. \nCome out and join the gang for a fun day!

DESCRIPTION:Annette is hosting an early holiday season drive to Koziar’s Christmas Village\, near Bernsville\, PA\, to view the dazzling lighted attractions of the Village.  En route to Koziar’s\, our group will first visit Russell Stover Chocolates\, in Hamburg\, PA\, to indulge in some seasonal decadence\, then head nearby to Red Robin for a late lunch / early dinner.  Finally\, we will head for Koziar’s Christmas Village\, at the end of the drive. \nPLEASE NOTE:  THE CHRISTMAS VILLAGE REQUIRES A SINGLE PAYMENT FOR ALL GROUP ADMISSIONS.  ANNETTE WILL PAY FOR THE GROUP\, BUT ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING ENOUGH CASH TO REIMBURSE ANNETTE.  ADMISSIONS ARE $16 FOR UNDER AGE 65 AND $15 FOR 65+.  THANKS!

DESCRIPTION:Once again (how lucky can we be?)\, Chapter 839 of the Eastern Experimental Aircraft Association has invited us to attend\, on May 14\, a pancake breakfast ($7 per person\, as of now)\, an aircraft fly-in and a car show (LVMOC member cars and classic British cars\, in this instance) at the Pegasus Airpark\, near Brodheadsville\, PA.  EAA Chapter 839 will have their aircraft on display\, and there will likely be some flying of R/C airplanes. \nThe Keystone British Car Club has been invited to participate on the same date\, May 14\, so we will have the opportunity to “rub elbows” with the owners of many of the British cars that we “cut our teeth on” in the 1950s\, 1960s and 1970s. \nAfter this event\, LVMOC will escort the Miatas (and Brits\, if they wish) to an ice cream rendezvous at Kline Farms Dairy and Creamery\, several miles north of Easton\, PA. \nThe LVMOC participants should plan to arrive at Pegasus Airpark by 9:00 a.m. on May 14.  There is no organized group drive from the Lehigh Valley to the Airpark.
