DESCRIPTION:For the fourth consecutive year\, LVMOC has had the good fortune to be invited by Chapter 839 of the Eastern Experimental Aircraft Association\, on May 18\, 2025\, to a pancake breakfast ($8 contribution per person)\, an aircraft fly-in and a car show (LVMOC member cars and classic British cars\, on this occasion) at the Pegasus Airpark\, near Brodheadsville\, PA.  EAA Chapter 839 will have their aircraft on display and many will be taking off and landing on the airfield during the event. \nThe Keystone British Car Club has been invited to participate on the same date\, May 18\, so we will have the opportunity to “rub elbows” with the owners of many of the British cars that we “cut our teeth on” in the 1950s\, 1960s and 1970s. \nAfter this event\, LVMOC will escort the Miatas (and Brits\, if they wish) to an ice cream rendezvous at an ice cream destination (not yet determined). \nThe LVMOC participants should plan to arrive at Pegasus Airpark by 9:00 a.m. on May 18.  There is no organized group drive from the Lehigh Valley to the Airpark.

DESCRIPTION:Kim and Hoa have added more twisty roads to the fun route that we followed in June.  The total length of the drive is ~111 miles and it now includes some of our favorite\, curvy roads in the Lehigh Valley\, as well as those of the northern section.  The drive will finish with a picnic lunch in the nice Covered Bridge Park by the Jordan Creek in South Whitehall Township\, Lehigh County. \nCome out and enjoy this drive and picnic!

SUMMARY:Tinicum Park Picnic Lunch Drive - NEW DATE!
DESCRIPTION:This is a revised date\, due to forecasted poor weather on Sunday\, November 9. \nDomenic and Cindy will host a Sunday version of Walter’s September 18 drive\, following a blend of Miata roads and Touring roads in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  In NJ\, we will drive the fun roadways of Warren and Hunterdon Counties.  We will then cross the Delaware River\, to return into Pennsylvania\, at Milford\, NJ and proceed to Tinicum Park where we will enjoy our picnic lunch.   After lunch\, we will tour some fun PA roads in Bucks and Northampton Counties before heading back to the Lehigh Valley. \nThis one is for those who couldn’t participate in the 9/18 weekday drive… don’t miss it this time!

SUMMARY:Black Friday Pilgrimage: All You Can Drive & All You Can Eat!
DESCRIPTION:Kim will lead a gang of hungry LVMOC’ers on a foray into Lancaster County for a buffet lunch at Yoder’s Country Market and Restaurant.  This should be an excellent diversion from your typical Black Friday shopping excursions!  There are many great roads between the Lehigh Valley and the Lancaster region\, so the driving should be fun!  And\, what could be better than a buffet lunch that includes many PA Dutch specialties! \nDon’t miss this LVMOC event!

SUMMARY:Pancake Breakfast / Aircraft / Car Show / Airplane Rides / Ice Cream
DESCRIPTION:For the fifth consecutive year\, LVMOC has had the good fortune to be invited by Chapter 839 of the Eastern Experimental Aircraft Association\, on Sunday\, May 17\, 2026\, to a pancake breakfast ($8 contribution per person)\, an aircraft fly-in and a car show (LVMOC member cars and classic British cars\, on this occasion) at the Pegasus Airpark\, near Brodheadsville\, PA.  EAA Chapter 839 will have their aircraft on display and many will be taking off and landing on the airfield during the event. \nThe Keystone British Car Club has been invited to participate on the same date\, May 17\, so we will have the opportunity to “rub elbows” with the owners of many of the British cars that we “cut our teeth on” in the 1950s\, 1960s and 1970s.  Last year this club displayed some very interesting British cars! \nAfter this event\, LVMOC will escort the Miatas (and Brits\, if they wish) to an ice cream rendezvous at an ice cream destination (not yet determined). \nThe LVMOC participants should plan to arrive at Pegasus Airpark by 9:00 a.m. on May 17.  There is no organized group drive from the Lehigh Valley to the Airpark. \nA sign-up topic will be posted to the Forum as the event date approaches.
